Schools in northern Miami Valley delayed due to fog


There are several schools in northern Miami Valley that are on a delayed start Friday morning due to dense fog.

Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. for the following counties: Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Logan, Miami, Mercer, and Shelby.

According to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini, visibility could drop below a quarter mile at times Friday morning.

Sidney City Schools will be closed today due to the fog.
