FIRST REPORT
Hazmat crews have been requested following a large diesel fuel spill from a semitrailer on Interstate 70 in Clark County Tuesday morning.
The incident was first reported as a broken-down semi in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near I-675 just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Reports indicate a mechanical issue caused a fuel tank to rupture and sent gallons of diesel fuel onto the highway.

Our crew on scene reported that traffic was crawling about a half-mile from the crash site, and the Ohio Department of Transportation has reported that the right lane is blocked. ODOT estimated a five-minute traffic delay for drivers in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
We have a crew on the way and we’ll update this story as we learn more.
