The region remained dry today but the sun did melt some snow which could lead to re-freeze problems on area roadways, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.
The sky will remain clear tonight and temperatures will settle in to the low to middle teens.
Friday: We will wake up to sun and milder temperatures in the mid-30s, which is seasonal for February, Wirdzek said.
Saturday: The weekend will start with clouds and highs in the mid-4os.
Sunday: A weak cold front will sag south in to our area late in the day. Ahead of it, we’ll have milder air and rain will develop. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Wirdzek does not expect a changeover to snow.
Monday: A very light snow flurry may arrive early, but not enough expected to cause road issues. Highs will be near 30.
