Monday: Another winter storm will bring rain showers in the late morning with most seeing a transition to a wintry mix to snow showers around noon. Snow showers will continue throughout the remainder of the day and overnight. In the Dayton region most will see 1-2 inches. Areas north of I-70 where the Winter Weather Advisory is, could see slightly higher totals because they are going to see the change over to snow sooner. Isolated areas could see up to 4" of snow. Temperatures will top off into the low 40s early, then fall significantly through the day. By 5 p.m., the temperature will have fallen below 32 degrees and continue to fall steadily overnight. Winds will pick up and continue to gust into the overnight.

Tuesday: It will be a cold morning with temperatures falling into the upper teens. Scattered clouds and flurries are possible, especially to the far northwest. Leftover snow and icy spots from the night before could make for difficult travel in the morning. The day will be breezy and cold with high temperatures topping off in the upper 20s. The record for the coldest high temperature that day is 30, so we could break it this week.
Wednesday: It will be a quieter day with sunshine, but will stay cold with temperatures starting in the middle teens and topping in the lower 30s. We might also break records for the coldest high temperature on this date (13 degrees was the record low set in 1986).
Thursday: It will be partly cloudy and not as cold as highs climb into the low 40s. There is a slight chance for snow showers overnight.
Friday: The day will be mostly sunny and cold with highs approaching 40 degrees.
