Woman arrested in stabbing of girlfriend at Springfield home

A woman was arrested in the stabbing of her live-in girlfriend early this morning at a West Pleasant Street home.

Tanesha Good is scheduled to be arraigned for felonious assault in the Clark County Municipal Court today, according to court records.

The couple was reportedly arguing when the victim was stabbed in the chest and arm.

She was treated at Springfield Regional Medical Center and released around 7 a.m., according to a hospital representative.

Authorities are investigating a stabbing that reportedly occurred at a home on West Pleasant Street early Tuesday.

Police say they were dispatched to the 300 block on an assault with injury after a woman was reportedly stabbed in the chest around 2:45 a.m.

No other details, including the woman’s condition, were immediately available.
