Former Buckeyes star helps Dunkin’ unveil new breakfast sandwich

Dunkin’ celebrated the launch of its Beyond Sausage Sandwich this morning with some help from former Ohio State and Wayne High School standout Braxton Miller.

The sandwich is made with 100% plant-based protein and is served on an English muffin with egg and American cheese.

Miller,  a key part of the 2014 National Champion Ohio State football team, was Dunkin’s celebrity sampler this morning, Nov. 8 at the Woodman Drive location.

“We're excited to introduce the Beyond Sausage Sandwich nationwide and in doing so, offer an option with fewer calories, less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium, while delivering more protein and iron than a comparable pork sausage sandwich,” said Ethan Brown, Beyond Meat Founder and CEO in a statement.

The vegetarian sandwich was first introduced in Manhattan in July with success.
