No significant threat for severe weather, but heavy downpours and gusty winds are possible. Highs for the day in the middle 80s. Shower and storm chances will diminish into the evening, especially after sunset. Staying partly cloudy into the night with lows around 70 degrees.
Sunday: A similar day expected for with hot and muggy conditions. The day will be filled with sun and clouds and chance of a few pop-up showers and storms again during the heat of the day. Highs expected in the upper 80s with heat index values in the lower 90s.
Monday: Mostly sunny, hot and muggy for Labor Day. Temperatures will soar to highs near 90 degrees; feeling like the middle 90s. Between parades and festivals, drinking lots of fluids and keep cool is suggested. Symptoms of heat exhaustion include feeling nauseous, dizzy or faint. If you feel these symptoms find a cool place quickly and if you do not recover within a short period of time, reach out for medical attention.
