Michael D. Pitman covers political news in Butler County, as well as state and national issues that may have an impact on the community. In addition to his award-winning journalism skills, Pitman has developed into a reliable staff photographer. He also enjoys telling features about people, and the interesting lives they have led. He was born and raised in the Greater Cincinnati area. Pitman graduated from Wyoming High School and earned his B.A. from the College of Mount St. Joseph. He also has a Masters in Sport Administration from Xavier. He has a twin brother, an older brother and older sister. He lives on the Westside of Cincinnati with his wife, Christy, and daughters, Emma and Sophia. He's taken an interest in fiction writing. He is always trying to learn something new in his craft, and has a desire to be constantly learning new things.
