Looking back in Springfield: A grand home for East High Street

In 1916, Buffalo Steam Roller merged with the Kelly-Springfield Road Roller Company to form Buffalo-Springfield.

Soon after, Carl F. Greiner, who had been made secretary of the new company, moved to Springfield. In 1926, he built a grand home on East High Street that combined the Spanish mission style with that of an Italian Renaissance villa.
