Dayton tornadoes: Where to buy tornado T-shirts

Some local clothing stores are selling new T-shirt designs to support the victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes.

The shirts will offer the community a way to visibly show their support and help give back, with proceeds supporting relief efforts.

BIRCH IN TIPP CITY

BIRCH is selling T-shirts, and all proceeds will go to families who are trying to rebuild. The “937 strong” shirt profits will go to families in the Dayton area, while the “419 strong” profits will go to families in Celina.

Youth to adult 4XL sizes are available, all for $20. You can order the shirts on their Facebook page by replying in the comments and paying by PayPal, at their store at 108 E. Main St. in Tipp City or you can call 937-203-1803 to order.

THE OLDE FARMSTEAD IN BEAVERCREEK

This gift shop at the Mall at Fairfield Commons will be offering these charcoal “Dayton strong” shirts for $20. Small through XXL sizes will be available. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Dayton Foodbank.

The shirts are scheduled to be in store next week.

J. ELIZABETH IN MASON

Jacquie Roser, the owner of J. Elizabeth boutique in Mason, has relatives in the Dayton area and has created "Dayton Strong" T-shirts, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the City of Dayton for relief efforts, according to the website.

“Being from the Cincinnati area and having family in Dayton, these horrible events really hit home, and I knew I wanted to help,” Roser said on the homepage of a new website she launched specifically to help the city of Dayton.

$2,500 has been raised to date, according to the website.

Youth and toddler shirts will be available for $22, and adult shirts will be $25.

BELLYWING BOUTIQUE

Amber Aslakson, a Dayton native now living in Minnesota, is selling her own version of #DaytonStrong shirts through her boutique’s website. Shirts are $12 each with $5 going to relief efforts at The Heavy Metal Church of Christ in Northridge. So far, she’s raised about $600 in donations.

The pizzeria in Huber Heights is selling Survivor shirts for $15.

PIPER STREET BOUTIQUE

Dayton Strong Tees from Piper Street in Franklin are $24 each, with a portion of sales going to tornado relief. If you purchase a tee, you will get the sparkly red earrings for free. Piper Street is located at 8401 Claude Thomas Road in Franklin.

CHIEF SCREEN PRINTING IN KETTERING

This business is selling shirts in store for $15 ($18 for 2XL & 3XL). 100% of the proceeds from these shirts will go directly to The Dayton Foodbank. The store is not accepting pre-orders via phone, message or comment but invites customers to stop by during business hours at 4025 Marshall Road Kettering. For more information, call (937) 979-4644. The store plans to stock shelves each weekday at noon and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Shirts are first come, first served.

Second Street Market

Dayton Strong tees will be available at Second Street Market in Dayton, open Thursday through Sunday. These shirts will go for $20.

Lunar Habits Apparel

Lunar Habits Apparel will be selling a variety of Dayton Strong T-shirts on Etsy, with proceeds going toward relief efforts. Prices range from $18 to $20. There are community specific T-shirts, including Northridge, Trotwood, Brookville, Beavercreek and Celina.
