Tova Wallace-Lee was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison with 173 days jail credit.

Xenia Councilman Edgar Wallace, the grandfather of Wallace-Lee, said the case was tragic for everyone. Wallace said he’s grieving for the victim’s family, and for his own as well.

A Greene County jury has found a 21-year-old Xenia woman guilty in the stabbing death of a 19-year-old woman.
Tova Wallace-Lee is scheduled to be sentenced today in Judge Michael Buckwalter’s courtroom after being found guilty of murder in the death of Tre’Ana Tarver.
The trial started Monday and prosecutors presented their case with more than two days of testimony.
Investigators said the defendant and the victim had been arguing on Facebook over a man and made plans to meet and fight at Wallace-Lee’s residence on East Church Street.
The fight happened in the home’s backyard, where Wallace-Lee stabbed Tarver, causing fatal injuries.

Wallace-Lee is the granddaughter of Xenia Councilman Edgar Wallace, who lives at the home where the fight occurred. He was among the people who called 911 to report the incident in November 2018.
