‘Heroes’ to get discount admission tonight at Clifton Mill lights display

Police, firefighters and military members will be honored tonight with discounted admission to the “Heroes Night” at Clifton Mill.

Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer and his family will be on hand to flip the switch, turning on the Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill.

First responders will receive $2 off on admission from 5 to 9 p.m.

More than four million lights comprise the display, which won ABC TV’s Great Christmas Light Fight, and it’s open nightly until the end of the year.

Every hour the covered bridge at the historic site lights up to synchronized music. Other attractions include a miniature village and thousands of Santa Claus toys and depictions dating back to 1850.

Clifton Mill is located in Clifton village, three miles east of Yellow Springs on Ohio 343, six miles south of Springfield on Ohio 72, and three miles north of Cedarville on Ohio 72.
