Deputies arrested an Edgewater Motor Sports employee on Saturday after they received a call for a crash and fire on the complex's premises, according to our news partner, WCPO-TV.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Stanley Thomakos, 61, was arrested for holding an invite only race at the race facility on East Miami River Road which drew a large crowd in violation of the state's stay-at-home order.

The incident started around 3:20 p.m. when deputies and the Green Township Fire Department were called to the facility for a crash and a vehicle fire. After an investigation, Thomakos was charged with violations prohibited, a misdemeanor, and he was released.

Deputies did not say if anyone else was charged from this incident or if the facility owners will face any repercussions.
