Elaine Morris Roberts covers all aspects of business in Clark County. She works with business leaders, public officials, area organizations and citizens to create daily news stories and feature articles including a weekly Sunday business feature. Elaine works on special projects and enterprise features, creating Springfield's first Top 20 Under 40 and manages long-term reporting topics such as the 2007-2008 International Truck and Engine/United Auto Workers union strike and contract negotiations. She works with local organizations such as the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement to provide news coverage for annual business events. Elaine holds Doctoral and Master's degrees in education, both with a concentration in literacy, from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Miami University.
