MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • On SR 48 between Monument Avenue and Riverview Drive, the bridge will be closed Sept. 27–30. The official detour is: northbound – SR 48 to Monument Avenue to Great Miami Boulevard to SR 48; southbound – Great Miami Boulevard to Riverside Drive to Second Street to SR 48.
  • On I-70 west Ramp to Airport Access Road, the ramp will be closed Sept. 22 at 8 p.m.–Sept. 23 at 5 a.m. The official detour is I-70 west to SR 48 to I-70 east to Airport Access Road.
  • On Airport Access Road south Ramp to I-70 west, the ramp will be closed Sept. 23 at 8 p.m.–Sept. 24 at 5 a.m. The official detour is Airport Access Road to I-70 east to SR 202 to I-70 west.
  • On I-70 east Ramp to Airport Access Road, the ramp will be closed Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.–Sept. 25 at 5 a.m. The official detour is I-70 east to SR 202 to I-70 west to Airport Access Road.
  • On I-70 west Ramp to Airport Access Road, the ramp will be closed Sept. 26–28 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour is I-70 west to SR 48 to I-70 east to Airport Access Road.
  • On Airport Access Road south Ramp to I-70 west, the ramp will be closed Sept. 27–30 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour is Airport Access Road to I-70 east to SR 202 to I-70 west.
  • On I-70 east Ramp to Airport Access Road, the ramp will be closed Sept. 29th – Oct. 1 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour is I-70 east to SR 202 to I-70 west to Airport Access Road.
  • On I-75 between Austin Boulevard and SR 725, there will be nightly lane closures Sept. 26– Nov. 1 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • On I-675 north between Lyons Road and McEwen Road, there will be lane closures Sept. 18–Oct. 16. Two northbound lanes will remain open at all times. Traffic will be shifted to the right lane and right shoulder during this time.
  • On Austin Boulevard between SR 741 and I-75, there will be nightly lane closures Sept. 16–27 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • On US 40 between Airport Access Road and Brown School Road, there will be Daily lane closures Sept. 3-Oct. 31 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.
  • On US 35 east Ramp to I-75 South, the ramp will be closed July 28–Sept. 30. The official detour is: US 35 east to Steve Whalen Boulevard exit to US 35 west.
  • On South Broadway Ramp to I-75 north and south, the ramp will be closed May 14–Sept. 30. The official detour is: Germantown Street to James H. McGee Boulevard to US 35 east.
  • On U.S. 40 in Vandalia, crews have starting milling on National Road as a major resurfacing project began Sept. 18. Crews will resfurface National Road from Airport Access Road to Brown School Road before the end of the year. They will resurface Brown School Road to the Taylorsville Dam in the Spring. Allow extra time to get where you’re going as this project is underway. For more information, click here.  
  • On state Route 48 between First Street and Riverdale Street, there will be lane closures from May 3-Oct. 31. One lane will remain open in each direction. Traffic will be switched from the southbound side of the Route 48 bridge to the newly built northbound side.
  • On state Route 49 southbound between U.S. 40 and I-70, there will be a lane closure June 26-Sept. 30. one lane will remain open.
  • On the I-70 West ramp to SR 49 north, nightly lane closures are scheduled from July 11 through Sept. 30. The closures are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly and one lane will remain open.  
  • On SR 49 between U.S. 40 and Hoke Road, construction scheduled in late June through September 30 will cause various lane closures during the project.
  • The Schantz Avenue Bridge over South Dixie Highway in Kettering, BRIDGE CLOSURE beginning Monday, April 1, for complete replacement of the bridge and the retaining wall. The project is expected to take 7 to 8 months. Detour signs are posted along the road. Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes during peak traffic hours to avoid possible delays
  • On Washington Street in Dayton, between the U.S. 35 west exit and South Perry Street, a major reconstruction project will block parts of Washington Street into 2020. Phase one of the project blocks westbound traffic starting at South Jefferson Street. Traffic from the U.S. 35 West exit ramp will be diverted north onto South Jefferson Street toward downtown Dayton. Drivers can access South Main and South Ludlow streets from West Fifth Street. 
  • Riverview Avenue near Main Street, ROAD CLOSURE May 3 - Oct. 22. The official detour is: Southbound: SR 48 to Monument Avenue to Riverview Avenue. Northbound: SR 48 to Great Miami Boulevard to Riverview Avenue.
  • Keowee Street north of Stanley Avenue, the bridge remains closed. The official detour is Keowee to Stanley to I-75 to Wagner Ford Road and back to Dixie. More information is available here.

CLARK COUNTY

  • US 40 west near Liberty Street, there will be daily lane closures September 23rd -24th between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. One westbound lane will remain open.
  • On U.S. 68 near I-70, there will be lane closures from Nov 26, 2018 to July 30, 2020. One 12-foot lane will remain open in each direction.
  • SR 4 south Ramp to US 40, there will be a ramp closure Sept. 16 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The official detour is SR 4 to SR 369 north to US 40.
  • Springfield Xenia Road near Leffel Lane (I-70 overpass), there will be an overnight road closure Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.–Sept. 20 at 5 a.m. The official detour on the northbound side is US 68 north to I-70 east to SR 72 north to Leffel Lane west to Springfield Xenia Road. On the southbound side, the detour is Leffel lane east to SR 72 south to I-70 west to US 68 south to Fairfield Pike to Springfield Xenia Road. An emergency lane will remain open for First Responders.

MIAMI COUNTY: 

  • On I-75 between Northwoods Boulevard and SR 55, nightly lane closures are scheduled from July 13 through Sept. 30 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in both directions during the nightly closure. 

GREENE COUNTY

  • On Wagner Road between Swigart Road and Wagner Hills Drive in Sugarcreek Twp., a project to install a new sewer line will close Wagner Road from Sept. 16 through Sept. 20. The official detour is Swigert Road to Wilmington Pike, to Woodman Drive, to East Stroop Road. 
  • On U.S. 35 at the Xenia bypass, between the C.R. 135 and U.S. 68 interchanges, lane restrictions will go into effect on Saturday, September 7 due to paving work. Throughout construction, a minimum of one lane will be open in each direction. the project is scheduled for completion in early fall. 
  • On West Second Street between South Progress Drive and South Church Street/U.S. 42 in Xenia, road construction will cause temporary lane closures and delays beginning Monday, Apr. 8 - October, 2019. The City of Xenia Engineering Division advises motorists to seek alternate routes for the duration of the project. More information is available here. 

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

  • No current construction projects are scheduled by ODOT. 

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

  • No current construction projects are scheduled by ODOT. 

DARKE COUNTY

  • SR 49 between Elroy Ansonia Road and SR 47, there will be a road closure Sept. 23–27. The official detour is SR 118 to SR 47.
  • SR 503 between Hollansburg Arcanum Road and US 127, there will be a road closure Sept. 23–27. The official detour is US 127 to SR 722 to SR 503.
  • SR 118 between SR 49 and Russ Road, there will be daily lane closures Sept. 19 – Oct 31 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions using flaggers.
  • SR 49 between Water Street and SR 118, there will be daily lane closures Sept. 19 – Oct. 31 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions using flaggers.
  • SR 121 between Preble County Line and New Madison corporation limit, there will be daily lane closures July 5 – Sept. 30 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.
  • North Broadway Street, between West Main and Magnolia Drive, daily lane closures through Sept. 30 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions using flaggers.
  • On U.S. 127 between U.S. 36 and SR 121, daily lane closures are scheduled from July 15 through December 6. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Kruckeberg Road between SR 121 and Jaysville St. Johns Road, ROAD CLOSURE July 15 - Dec. 6. The official detour is: SR 121 to Jaysville St. Johns Road. 

LOGAN COUNTY

  • No current construction projects are scheduled by ODOT. 

MERCER COUNTY

  • No current construction projects are scheduled by ODOT. 

WARREN COUNTY

  • State Route 741 between state Route 63 and the city of Springboro south corporate limit, there will be lane closures due to pavement work daily from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Sept. 23-27. Traffic will be maintained.
