CORONAVIRUS: 5 things Clark, Champaign residents need to know today

Here are five things Clark and Champaign residents need to know about COVID-19, or coronavirus today.

1. Mercy Health is temporarily suspending coronavirus related statements and billing for patients. However, Mercy Health will bill insurance.

2. All Clark State Community College locations will remain closed through May 1 in response to the extended stay-at-home order.

3. The National Guard is helping Second Harvest Food Bank distribute food during a drive-thru pantry today at Hayward Middle School, 1700 Clifton Ave.

4. The city of Springfield has modified building regulations operating procedures. The Division of Building Regulations will no longer perform non-emergency inspections in occupied residential buildings.
