2. Collier's Family Restaurant in Springfield announced on Wednesday they will not reopen after the cornavirus pandemic is over. Ronald (Ronn) and Connie Collier opened Collier's Family restaurant in 2003, and Ronn worked at the restaurant until he died in 2015.

3. Some Springfield restaurants are now offering carryout cocktails along with meal orders, including O'Conners Irish Pub, The Meadows Restaurant, El Toro, Los Mariachis and Speakeasy Ramen. Both O'Conner Irish Pub and The Meadows Restaurant are offering their full cocktail menu.

4. Some restaurants are staying open for customers to order carryout family Easter meals, including Mel-O-Dee Restaurant & Catering, Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden and O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar.

5. Farmers in Clark and Champaign Counties are preparing for planting season regardless of the coronavirus pandemic. Already poor commodity prices took a dive after the onset of efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus last month added another layer of uncertainty to the farm economy, but experts say farmers are likely to approach this planting season like any other.
