DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Skies will be clear with temperatures falling through the 20s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. A light breeze will create wind chills in the teens.

Thursday: After a dry but cold start, clouds, wind and temperatures will increase. Highs will reach the lower 50s with wind gusts up to 30 mph possible. Scattered showers will arrive at night.

Friday: Rounds of rain showers will continue through the day. It will be very mild for January with highs in the upper 50s. We will have gusty winds at times.

Saturday: We will see rain showers, especially in the first half of the day. Highs will be in the low 60s early and fall from there. Rain showers may end as some wet snow northwest of Dayton. Rain totals will range from 2 to 4 inches.

Sunday: It will be dry and cooler in the low 40s. Clouds will break for some sunshine.
