“This is still an active investigation, we’re going to continue to investigate this case until we’ve exhausted all efforts,” said Riverside police Det. Travis Abney. “We’re confident in the case we’ve worked at this point, we’ve had a lot of help and we’re going to continue to build this case and the ultimate goal, finding Cheryl.”
The investigation began in early October, when a family member reported Cheryl missing. The couple lived in the same home at the time of her disappearance.

Shortly after Cheryl’s disappearance, Riverside officers released surveillance footage of someone parking her SUV in a Kroger parking lot, but new video released Tuesday shows the man walking through the neighborhood. Police said they believe he was headed to the Coker residence.
Police have not identified the man in the video.
Police recently changed the classification of Cheryl’s case from missing person to homicide.
Riverside detectives said finding Cheryl is their ultimate goal, but they won’t wait to make an arrest.
