“Mr. Fleming then rammed the rear of (the woman’s) vehicle, and then swerved around her vehicle stopping in front of her,” the affidavit says.

The woman then put her car in reverse and drove backward on South Fostoria Avenue toward Mount Joy Street, the affidavit said.

The woman continued driving away from Fleming, who continued to follow her, according to the affidavit, until the two cars were on East Main Street next to Walgreens.

“(The passenger) stated that Mr. Fleming then exited his vehicle and came up to the driver’s side of (the woman’s) vehicle. Mr. Fleming then grabbed the driver’s side door frame and bent the frame down,” according to the affidavit.

The woman took off, and Fleming did not follow her, the affidavit says.

She dressed herself and began walking through the house, exiting out the back door because the front door had been boarded by the City of Springfield.”

The woman told police she wasn’t sure of the exact address where she was, but believes it was near the 1900 block of South Yellow Springs Street.

Springfield police responded around 3 a.m. to the 1300 block of Delta Road on reports of “three males that had kicked in the door and were armed with handguns and a machete, burglarizing the place,” according to a police report.

When officers arrived, they spoke with two residents who said three masked males came to their door and wanted to come in to “chill.” The residents didn’t let them in, so the three left but came back a short time later.

According to the report, one of the suspects started kicking the door in, and after about three kicks, was able to break the door. All three suspects then went into the apartment; two armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and one armed with a machete.

“Suspect 2 grabbed a hold of (one of the victims), walking him into the master bedroom, to where suspect 2 held a machete to (the victim’s) throat demanding, ‘where is the ice at?’” the report says.

The victim told the suspect he didn’t know what he wanted. The suspect then started to steal items from the room instead.

The other two suspects stayed at the front door, both with their handguns on (the other victim) who was sitting on the couch.

“They asked (the other victim) multiple questions regarding where their ice stash was located inside the residence,” the report says.

This victim told both suspects he didn’t know what they were looking for.

The suspect in the bedroom then yelled for help from the other suspects to help him carry a black Acer laptop, an Android phone with a broken screen, a Polaroid movie player and a Verizon Android table out of the apartment.

“At this time, all three suspects slowly backed out of the residence with their weapons aimed at both victims. As soon as the three suspects were outside the residence, they took off running towards their vehicle and fled the scene,” the report says.

The two victims were unable to identify the suspects’ vehicle.

The three suspects are described as: a heavy-set male in his early 20s wearing a gray hoodie, blue bandana and black gloves; a heavy-set male in his early 20s wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue bandana and black gloves; and a slender build male in his early 20s wearing orange gloves and an orange face mask.
