The recipients of scholarships of $5,000 or more include:

Mara Ainsworth, daughter of Kelsey Shonkwiler and Troy Ainswoth, will attend Savannah College of Art and Design. She has accepted an academic scholarship in the amount of $7,000.

Katilyn Bush, daughter of David and Annie Bush, will attend Ohio Christian University. She accepted the Ohio Christian University Academic Scholarship in the amount of $13,000, 98.9 Radio Scholarship in the amount of $2,500, Masonic Scholarship in the amount of $500, Billy Williams Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500, Christy Knotts and Ranae Donohoe 2016 Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, the 2016 Everett Spangler Scholarship in the amount of $400, the Mechanicsburg Education Association in the amount of $200, and the 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

Joseph Butsch, son of Chris and Andrea Butsch, will attend Notre Dame College. He has been awarded the Notre Dame College Achievement Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 and the Notre Dame Academic Scholarship in the amount of $10,250.

Ashley Dailey, daughter of James and Kim Dailey, will attend Wilmington College. She has been awarded the Wilmington College Presidential Scholarship in the amount of $24,300, the Champaign County Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship in the amount of $1,500, the Matt Calland Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500, Perry Masonic Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 and the Young Leaders Conference Scholarship in the amount of $500.

Lauren Mayberry, daughter of Matthew and Sandy Mayberry, will attend Duquesne University. She accepted the Duquesne University Academic Scholarship in the amount of $19,480, the Duquesne University Athletic Scholarship in the amount of $17,531, the Duquesne University On-Campus Room Grant in the amount of $3,000, the Champaign County Retired Teachers Association Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, the Christy Knotts and Ranae Donohoe Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, the Billy Williams Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500, the Chet Swisher Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500, the Ohio H.S. Bowling Coaches Association District Senior Bowler of the Year Scholarship in the amount of $250, and the Mechanicsburg Education Association scholarship in the amount of $200.

Jacob McDonald, son of Linda McDonald, will attend West Virginia University. He has accepted the Blue and Gold Scholarship in the amount of $6,000, the Mack Hartley Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $750 and the Mechanicsburg FFA Booster Scholarship in the amount of $350.

Emily O’Quinn, daughter of David and Tammy O’Quinn, will attend Otterbein University. She accepted the Otterbein Presidential Scholar Award in the amount of $16,000.

Sheena Payne, daughter of Timothy and Cheryl Payne, will attend Wright State University. She has accepted the Mechanicsburg Education Association in the amount of $400 and the Wright State Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship in the amount of $5,842.

Bridget Sigmon, daughter of Terry and Amy Sigmon, will attend Wittenberg University. Bridget accepted Wittenberg University Scholar Award in the amount of $19,000.

Rachael Weakley, daughter of Jannifer Meyer, will attend Wright State University. Rachael accepted the Raider Excellence Award in the amount of $2,500, and the Wright State award in the amount of $16,731.

Emily Yoder, daughter of Angela Smiddy, will attend Capital University. She accepted 24,500.00 from the Capital University Academic Merit Scholarship.
