The recipients of scholarships of $5,000 or more include:
Rachael Albert, daughter of Terry and Melissa Albert, will receive a $20,000 scholarship from Wittenberg University.
Karrah Batten, daughter of Lorie Batten and Bill Batten will receive $15,505 in scholarships from Alderson-Broaddus University
Savannah Boerger, daughter of Yvonne Boerger and the late Phil Boerger, will receive a total of $32,550 in scholarships from Miami University, Miss Holiday in the City, the Northridge Lions Club, Springfield Kiwanis Foundation, Better Business Bureau Students of Integrity, Springfield Foundation, BK McLamore Foundation and PEO Star Philanthropic Educational Organization, Alph Sigma/Beta Psi Chapter, Union Club and the Woeber Mustard/Moorefield Township scholarship fund.
Tia Borger, daughter of Chris and Kristi Borger, will attend the University of Kentucky and will receive a total of $8,000 renewable scholarships from the University of Kentucky.
Preston Bowshier, son of Nicole Bowshier, will receive $25,000 in renewable leadership and athletic scholarships from Wheeling Jesuit University.
Justin Nathaniel Casto, son of Jerry & Cindy Casto, will receive a full tuition Post 9/11 GI Bill Award from the United States government. Justin will be attending The Ohio State University.
Emily Renee Copeland, daughter of Celina Copeland, will receive a full tuition GI Bill Award from United States government. Emily will attend Clark State Community College.
Courtney Dover, daughter of Bob and Linda Dover will attend Otterbein University and will receive a total of $17,000 in scholarships from Otterbein University and the International Harvester Credit Union.
Sarah Durham, daughter of Beth Helwagen, will attend Capital University and will receive $31,500 in scholarships from Capital University and the Roger Compton Family.
Devin Elliott, son of Tracey Elliott and Steven Elliott, will attend Baldwin Wallace University and will receive a total of $15,000 in scholarships from Baldwin Wallace University and the Springfied Foundation.
Mary Elizabeth Gebby, daughter of Andy and Marty Gebby, will attend Bowling Green State University and has accepted the Bowling Green State University Award of Scholars for $6,000.
Emily Harrison, daugher of Paul and Laura Harrison, will attend Wittenberg University and receive a total of $20,500 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.
Christina Marie Hill, daughter of John and Janice Hill, will attend The Ohio State University and receive a total of $7,500 from The Ohio State University, the Union Club, Sigma Alpha/Beta Psi Chapter, Kenton Ridge Boosters and the Clark County Educational Service Center.
Don Michael Kulasekera, son of Don Kulasekera and Abby James Kulasekera, will attend Wright State University and will receive a total of $10,200 in renewable scholarships from Wright State University and the Union Club.
Logan Mamer, son of Jim and Cara Mamer, will attend Wright State University and will receive a $9,000 Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship from Wright State University.
Kaitlyn McEnaney, daughter of Tom and Mitzi McEnaney, will attend Indiana Wesleyan University and will accept $8,000 in renewable scholarships from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Marlee McNeil, daughter of Mike and Julie McNeil, will attend Anderson University and will receive $18,790 in scholarships from Anderson Univesity, the Kenton Ridge Class of 1983, Kenton Ridge Boosters and the Union Club.
Allyson Montero, daughter of Henry and Pam Montero, will attend Wright State University and receive a $10,000 Paul Laurence Dunbar Scholarship from Wright State University.
Andy Ortman, son of Doug and Monica Ortman, will attend Wittenberg University and receive a total of $23,500 in scholarships from Wittenberg University, the Union Club and the Northeastern Local Education Association.
Alex Parish, son of John and Wendy Parrish, will attend Bowling Green State University and has accepted $6,000 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University.
Sarah Smith, daughter of Rick and Peggy Smith, will attend Capital University and receive $20,300 in scholarships from Capital University and the Clark County Educational Service Center.
Kelsie Strother, daughter of John and Heidi Readler, will attend The Ohio State University and will receive a total of $5,000 in scholarships from The Ohio State University and the OSU Athletic Department.
Dustin Chase Thornton, son of John & Lisa Thornton, will attend Wittenberg University and receive $16,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.
Sara Thornton, daughter of Melissa Volbert and Jeff Thornton, will receive $5465 in scholarships from Sinclair Community College’s women’s basketball program and Northside Baptist Church.
Jessica Walters, daughter Brenda Walters, will attend Wittenberg University and receive a total of $27,279 in scholarships from Wittenberg University, the Center City Association, Miss Holiday in the City, Kenton Ridge Student Council and the Springfield Foundation.
Keenan Young, son of Derrick & Edie Young, will receive $5,500 in scholrships from Ohio Christian University, Kenton Ridge Boosters and the Union Club.
