Kelly & Ryan give shoutout to Kettering police for ‘canceling all crime’ due to cold

The Kettering Police Department made LIVE hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest chuckle Thursday morning for “canceling all crime” due to the extreme cold in our area.

LIVE with Kelly and Ryan airs on WHIO-TV weekdays at 9 am.

Ripa laughed through her lines, “They took to social media to cancel all criminal activity on Wednesday due to the frigid weather, which is about 5 below.”

She was referring to this Facebook post from Kettering Police, warning all would-be criminals to hold off for now, adding that it would also be a good time for anyone to turn themselves in. The post went viral, garnering nearly 10,000 shares over two days.
