Juvenile wrecks grandmother’s van into her Clark County home

A juvenile was driving their grandmother’s van when they wrecked into the grandmother’s house, according to authorities on scene.

The deputy initially noticed the van’s headlights weren’t on, prompting the slow pursuit.

There were no injuries reported.

INITIAL REPORT

There is a report of a van that crashed into a home in Park Layne early Friday morning.

Initial reports around 3:30 a.m. indicated the van hit the home in the 1600 block of Lambers Drive, and the suspects — who had previously been involved in a slow pursuit with a deputy — got out of the van and ran.

According to dispatch, the deputy was chasing the van at a slow speed and lost it in the pursuit. The deputy later found the van crashed into the home.
