Health inspections: What the health department found at Greenon Local Schools

The health district inspects schools twice a year and lists issues it sees that it would like to see the school fix. The Springfield News-Sun has requested the inspections, and as a service to the community is publishing them so residents know the conditions of their schools.

At Indian Valley, inspectors found that some bookshelves were not secured and could tip, according to the inspection reports. Silvus said the school is working on getting all the shelves secured.

“We continue to work with the health department to provide a safe and clean environment for our students and staff,” Greenon . “We will continue to do so throughout the transition to our new facilities.”
