There has been a well-documented Pizza War going on in the Dayton area for a few years now, and not just among the usual suspects that come to mind when listing Miami Valley pizza shops.
One of those under-the-radar pizza providers wants you to try their pizza so much they’re willing to give you a slice for free.
Pilot Flying J, which operates Pilot and Flying J centers, has announced it will treat guests to a free slice of what it calls its pizzeria-quality pies Feb. 3 through Feb. 10 to those who order through the Pilot Flying J app. Those who download the app during that one-week time period and use it for the first time to take advantage of the free-pizza offer will also receive an additional free drink of their choice, Pilot Flying J officials said in a release.
According to Pilot Flying J’s web site, the Flying J at 9935 Ohio 41 in Jeffersonville serves pizza. Call ahead to other Pilot of Flying J locations to check availability.
