"He was blue, and we could tell that he wasn`t breathing. I could tell he didn`t have a pulse," Rowell told KFOR. "So yeah, we were definitely really worried. I didn`t know what to think so we just kept going."
The coaches were able to revive Bolton after using an automated electronic defibrillator, the television station reported.
"He took a gasp of air, went to breathing, started getting some color back," Blair told KFOR.
Bolton was taken to a hospital and had two stents inserted into his chest. He is recovering and looking forward to covering the football team during the season.
"We`re forever linked. You just don`t share that moment," Bolton told KFOR. "Those people praying for me were just as much a part of this as anything else."
