An argument over a football bet led to the shooting death of a South Florida man Saturday night, WPTV reported.
According to Delray Beach police, the argument broke out around 11 p.m. when one man shot another man, the Sun-Sentinel reported. The wounded man fired back, killing the man who shot him, the newspaper reported.
The first man was taken to a Delray Beach hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second man was pronounced dead at a Boynton Beach hospital, WPTV reported.
The investigation remains open, police said.

(cont..) Witnesses told detectives that two men argued over the football bet, one shot the other and then the injured man returned fire, mortally wounding the first, who was later pronounced dead at Bethesda Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
