A 13-year-old was arrested in Tulsa this week, after allegedly attempting to rob a 70-year-old man at gunpoint.
A witness at the scene describes what happened.
"The guy was an elderly man trying to go into a shop to get something to eat," the witness said. "Some young kids came in there and tried to hold him at gunpoint."
KRMG is told the boy demanded money from the victim and pulled up his shirt to show a weapon. The weapon turned out to be a BB gun.
Police say the boy was tracked down a short time later.
"I don't know if he was playing a game or if he was being serious," the witness said. "When you do stuff like that, you ring an alarm for the safety of our community."
According to KOKI, police said the boy had been in trouble with the law before.
