"She became irate with McDonald's staff due to her displeasure with her McChicken sandwich," police said, according to The Bulletin.
The publication reported that Hanson forced her way behind the counter to make her own food and assaulted the manager.
Hanson was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault on a pregnant person, The Day reported. She was held on $5,000 bond.
Hanson is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on June 13.
