Springfield police began their investigation when they were called to a home in reference to the overdose. They found Robinson on a bed, the report says.

“I located a small bag of unknown, white powered substance sitting on the nightstand directly beside the bed in plain view,” the report says. “The unknown substance was in a small plastic bag that was opened.”

The woman was found by her mother, who ordered the child victim to call the police, the report says.

“I spoke with (the child victim) who stated that he had been home all day,” the report says.

The child victim said he knew Robinson had issues with drugs in the past. The age of the child victim was redacted from the police report.
