Springfield police investigating shots fired report, gunshot victim at hospital

Springfield police are investigating after first receiving a report of shots fired at Linden Avenue and East Euclid Avenue, and then later a person with a gunshot wound showing up at the hospital.

According to dispatch records, the shots fired call came in at around 10:07 p.m.

Dispatchers said that officers were at both the scene of the shooting and at the hospital investigating.

The condition of the victim is unknown, and it was unclear whether the person’s gunshot wound is related to the shots fired report.
