The Clark County Sheriff’s Office began their investigation when they were called to Maders Market in reference to the front door being busted out.

“Upon our arrival, we noticed that there were three holes in the glass to the front door. The entire glass door was broken. At this time it didn’t appear that entry was made into the business,” an affidavit filed in the case says.

“We checked the video from the camera and at 3:36 a.m. what appears to be a male dressed in a coat on and the hood up carrying what looks like a sledgehammer approach. The subject walks to the front door and takes three swings at the glass, and then leaves the area nothing else could b seen on the video,” the affidavit says.

Later that day deputies were called back out to the scene where they found a man passed out in the parking lot, according to the affidavit.
