Police headlines for June 22

Thefts reported to law enforcement

Recent thefts reported to police and sheriff’s deputies included:

• A clothes washer, valued at $500, was reported stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Cottage Place between noon Monday and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

• A man in the 1800 block of Clifton Avenue reported various tools, valued at $1,588, stolen from his business between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

• A woman in the 1000 block of West Jefferson Street reported a television and a laptop, valued at $1,200, stolen from her residence between 6 and 7:44 p.m. Wednesday. The television was recovered by police.

• A man in the 400 block of East Cecil Street reported the theft of three nail guns, valued at $1,200, between 10:50 and 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, from the residence where he was staying .
