Woman reports theft at Walmart

A woman told Springfield police she left her purse unattended for a brief moment in a shopping cart about 7 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 200 S. Tuttle Road. When she returned, the money was missing.

Domestic violence suspect arrested

Timothy L. McMahon, 32, of 229 Stanton Ave., was arrested and charged with domestic violence after Springfield police responded to the home twice early Monday morning.

A 54-year-old female he was reportedly in an altercation with there collapsed, complaining of abdominal pain the second time police responded. She was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center for treatment, according to a report.

McMahon reportedly was found hiding in the home before being booked into Clark County Jail.

In another case, James E. Greene, 37, of 401 W. North St., was arrested Monday afternoon on a theft charge after police said he took medications from a Rite Aid pharmacy in the area.

Greene was also served a bench warrant on a charge of driving under the influence. The police report did not indicate whether Greene was jailed.

TV stolen from Kenilworth home

A television valued at $900 was taken about 1:15 p.m. Monday from a home on the 2300 block of Kenilworth Avenue. The back door appeared to have been kicked in.
