Police were called to the Victory Faith Center, located at 1819 W. Washington St., back in September in response to a security alarm. When they arrived a witness said he had discovered a window broken out on the east side of the building.

Officers collected broken glass from inside the church, which had footprints and blood on them from the suspect. Investigators allegedly matched DNA samples linked to Risner.

A neighbor also provided surveillance video from his home’s security camera the following day that allegedly showed Risner leaving the building with an unknown woman and running off. The video also allegedly showed Risner breaking into the building.
