Homeowner surprises, holds burglar at gunpoint

The woman's husband held the burglar at gunpoint briefly before the man took off running out the back door of the home.

Clark County deputies arrived in the area and discovered a man walking through the yards of homes on White Pine Avenue. Deputies said the man matched the description of the burglar. The homeowners positively identified the man.

Deputies booked William Brown, 20, in to the Clark County Jail on a burglary charge.

Brown entered a not guilty plea in Springfield Municipal Court Wednesday and was given a bond of $15,000. He remains in jail.
