California man arrested in Indiana after police find $5M worth of cocaine, meth

A California man was arrested Tuesday when Indiana State Troopers said they found 220 pounds of cocaine and 65 pounds of methamphetamine worth nearly $5 million inside a tractor-trailer he was driving, WXIN reported.

Ravinder Kaler, 22, of Bakersfield, was stopped in Indiana during a routine inspection at 10:30 a.m., KERO reported

Police said the vehicle was loaded with aluminum crates and was traveling from California to Ohio, WXIN reported. The drugs were located inside the trailer in travel bags, according to troopers.

Kaler is facing felony charges of dealing narcotics and possession of narcotics, WXIN reported.
