The University of Dayton will celebrate its fall graduates this weekend.
UD’s fall commencement ceremony is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the University of Dayton Arena, according to the school. Around 570 students will be awarded their degrees.
The ceremony, which marks UD’s 168th commencement, will include students who graduated in August since there is no summer ceremony UD will post a live stream the graduation ceremony online.
The university will hold a baccalaureate Mass at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, in the Immaculate Conception Chapel.
In its last commencement ceremony in May, UD awarded a record number of degrees for the school. Around 1,575 degrees were given out during spring commencement.
The record was largely thanks to a tuition guarantee program put in place four years earlier, UD’s vice president for enrollment management said at the time.
