Area mall to open new military gathering place

The Mall at Fairfield Commons will open a new Armed Forces Hub for military personnel and veterans this month.

The gathering place is designed to give back to military personnel, according to a statement from the Beavercreek shopping center. It will also give recruiters a high foot-traffic area to attract interested candidates.

Military personnel and veterans will have access to games, couches and a coffee bar at the hub on the lower level near the center court of the mall.
