Parents help create epic kid’s bedtime movie poster

Any parent can relate to the trials and tribulations of getting children to go to sleep.

John and Amanda Galbincea find themselves in a nightly bedtime battle with their 2-year-old son, Andrew.

The toddler recently graduated from a crib to a toddler bed. The parents quickly discovered that Andrew had no problems escaping from his bedroom, despite having to open a door and a baby gate.

According to ABC News, one night the Galbinceas discovered their son stretched out and sound asleep on one of the steps of their staircase.

The parents controlled their laughter long enough to take a few photos, which they sent to family and friends.

Friend and multimedia designer Eric Metze saw the images and was inspired to create a horror parody movie poster.

John Galbincea posted the image on Reddit, where it quickly went viral, receiving over a million views on Imgur.

Metze has been documenting the viral journey of the poster on his Facebook page.

The stars and planets have literally aligned. Vernal equinox, solar eclipse, and the best gift the Internet has ever given me...
