Kitten, puppy arrive at shelter, become adorable best friends

At Operation Kindness, a no-kill shelter in Texas, a family recently dropped off Chip, a 5-week-old Chihuahua, because he was too young for them to take care of, according to ETonline.com.

The same day, 4-week-old kitten Adele was found without a mother and brought to the same shelter.

ETonline reports that they were put together because they arrived at the shelter on the same day. And suprisingly, they got along. Then they became friends. Everyone needs a friend when they arrive at a new place.

The adorable pair sleep together, play together, groom each other and even eat together.

Now Chip and Adele have their own page on the Operation Kindness site, and their own Facebook page, where you can follow their adventures.
