The best Amazon Black Friday deals of 2018

If you’d rather get in on the fun from the comfort of your couch or bed, e-commerce giant Amazon has plenty of deals for its customers just in time for the holidays.

Amazon is kicking off its device deals Friday, Nov. 16 starting with major discounts on the Amazon Echo, Fire tablet, Kindle and Fire TV. But there are plenty of early sales available now.

The retailer is also offering free shipping for all customers this holiday season. The promotion, which has no set end date as of Nov. 15, is good for Amazon's 5-8 day shipping speed. Prime members will still get free two-day shipping.
