🎆🍴🎤Dayton Lights in Flight Fireworks Festival

This celebration features one of the region’s biggest fireworks shows along the downtown Dayton riverfront on Wednesday, July 3. Hear live music from the Dayton Jazz Collection, Brass Tracks Band and D-Funk Band. There will also be food, fun for the whole family and of course, fireworks to close the show at 10 p.m.

🎆🍴🎤Free Fireworks Friday at Hollywood Gaming

Head over to Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway for an outdoor celebration with food and drinks, live music by GenX featuring classic rock, ’80’s rock, country and oldies hits between 7 and 10 p.m. Then watch a 15-minute-long fireworks show set to music beginning at 10 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to this family friendly event. Rain dates will be announced in the event of inclement weather

If you’re looking to beat the heat during the day on the 4th, then you have to know about this indoor and outdoor event. The annual star-spangled science celebration features educational shows, entertainment, indoor fireworks in the planetarium, face painting, food vendors and more.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. at Meadowbridge Drive continuing east on Dayton-Xenia Road to Beavercreek High School. After the parade, at Rotary Park there will be food trucks, entertainment, children’s activities and fireworks at 10 p.m.

The Mall at Fairfield Commons will host its 3rd annual Red, White and Brew event on Saturday, July 6, outside of the main mall entrance. The event will include live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks, a beer garden with sales supporting Fisher-Nightingale House. 

Children's activities include a bounce house, face painting, and more in the Kids Zone from 6 to 9 p.m. 

Spungewurthy will perform live at the event, with fireworks at 10 p.m.

Tons of fun events are on the schedule for the 46th annual Americana Festival July 3-4. July 3 events include a concert by cover band Stranger and fireworks at the Centerville High School Stadium, 500 E. Franklin St. Gates open at 6 p.m. A variety of food vendors will be on hand at the stadium entrance. The concert will begin at 8:30 p.m. with fireworks synchronized to music by 92.9FM at 10 p.m. Get a complete schedule here.

On July 4th, Sidney will celebrate the holiday with fireworks. The evening’s entertainment begins at 9 p.m. with a performance of patriotically themed music by the Sidney Civic Band on the lawn at Sidney High School. The pyrotechnics kick off at 10 p.m. and can be viewed from either the campus of Sidney Middle School or Sidney High School. In honor of Shelby County’s bicentennial this year, the fireworks display will be bigger. In the event of rain, the fireworks show will take place at this same location on July 5.

The Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks and Xenia Rotary & Greene Memorial Hospital Fireworks Festival was held on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Shawnee Park. Kevin Sonnycalb was a Xenia native, active Rotarian, and local philanthropist. His family donated the funds for the fireworks to give back to the community that Sonnycalb loved, lived in, and greatly influenced his life.
