Two and a half hours prior to every performance of “Rent,” at the Schuster Center, hopeful attendees will have the chance to enter a drawing to win front-row seats at that night’s performance, according to a news release from the Victoria Theatre Association.
The show will run Jan. 21-26, 2020. To enter, you’ll need to print your name and the number of tickets that you desire (only up to two tickets per person are allowed) at the box office. Then, two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of orchestra tickets priced at $25 each.

Typically, these front-row orchestra tickets run from $79 to $94. This tradition of having a drawing for front-row orchestra seats began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theater. To this day, the producers of “Rent” are committed to ensuring that everyone has a chance to see the show.
Only one entry per person is allowed. Winners will have to present a valid ID to purchase the tickets. The tickets are subject to availability.
