You can see The Big Lebowski and drink beer in Yellow Springs, man.

You are going to want to be in Yellow Springs on Feb. 10, man.

That’s the day the Little Art Theatre, 247 Xenia Ave., will partner with Yellow Springs Brewery for an event The Dude would wear his fanciest bathrobe to attend.

The cult classic "The Big Lebowski" will be the featured film for Beer + Movie.

The event includes samples of brews from Yellow Springs Brewery.

Admission is $25.

The event also will include giveaways, trivia and a food truck.

No word on white Russians.

Beer + Movie is restricted to those age 21 and older.

Doors open at 1 p.m and the beer tasting will take place between 2 and 3 p.m when the movie starts.

Jeff Bridges plays Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski, a super laid-back dude who happens to share the same name as a millionaire, in The Big Lebowski.

LOCAL CONNECTION TO THE DUDE

In April, a signed, reproduced storyboard of the scene "Donny's Ashes" made by  J. Todd Anderson, a New Carlisle native and Dayton-area resident, went to the highest bidder in April as part of Ashes For A Kidney - A Special Big Lebowski Silent Auction. 

Proceeds from the event were to benefit Robert Gray, co-owner of Ohio Coffee Company. Gray had a kidney transplant.

Anderson has created the storyboard for about 20 Coen brothers movies since 1987’s "Raising Arizona,” including the “The Big Lebowski.
