Gabor had a daughter, Francesca Hilton, while she was married to hotel magnate Conrad Hilton. In later years they battled in court over family finances. Francesca died of a stroke in 2015.

Gabor was married eight times, nine if counting the one day she was married to Felipede Alba. The marriage was immediately annulled because a previous marriage was not properly dissolved.

She married Prince Frederic von Anhalt, who was about 30 years younger than her, in 1986.
