Must-see: 82-year-old stuns 'America's Got Talent' judges with heavy metal performance

An 82-year-old retiree from Colorado went full metal on Tuesday's episode of "America's Got Talent," stunning the judges and the audience with a hardcore performance of Drowning Pool's "Bodies."

Karaoke enthusiast John Hetlinger, a former Navy pilot and aerospace engineer who helped repair the Hubble Telescope, said appearing on the show "would be probably the high point of my life and my many careers."

"So without putting words into your mouth, we're sort of more important than the Hubble Telescope," judge Simon Cowell said.
"Yes," Hetlinger replied.
He then launched into his performance, shouting, "Let the bodies hit the floor ..."

Judges Cowell, Howie Mandel and Mel B all voted to send Hetlinger to the next round, with Heidi Klum being the sole holdout.
