Summer Arts Festival offers talent on the terrace

Think of the Summer Arts Festival’s Live on the Terrace pre-show entertainment as the show before the show.

Eight bands and performers will play live from the Veterans Park west terrace during the Festival’s landmark 50th season.

The acts will complement such events as the BBQ and Brew Blast, June 16-18; Parrothead Party in the Park, June 25; and the Sip of Summer Wine and Beer Tasting, July 8-9.

The TAC Choir of Springfield’s TAC Industries will lead off, as it did last year, at 7 p.m. Friday (June 10).

Other performances will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. and include:

Saturday, June 11, GoodVibes

Thursday, June 16, Tony Powell

Friday, June 17, Noah Back

Saturday, June 18, Patrick Dawson

Saturday, June 25, Skip Hoyt

Friday, July 8, Ty Cooper

Saturday, July 9, John Lippolis and Friends

Hoyt and Powell also performed in Live on the Terrace shows last year.
