Report: Prince hospitalized following emergency landing

Just a day after his two sold-out concerts in Atlanta, Prince was reportedly rushed to the hospital after his plane made an emergency landing, according to TMZ.

“According to our sources, Prince’s private plane made an unscheduled landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline just after 1 AM. The singer was immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital,” according to a Friday afternoon report by TMZ.

A representative for Prince told TMZ that the singer was still fighting the flu and had felt considerably worse following his performance in Atlanta.

The singer was released three hours after being admitted to the hospital.

Prince is now back home, according to the TMZ.

Last week, Prince postponed two concerts at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre due to illness (he reportedly has the flu). Prince performed in two sold-out shows Thursday evening in Atlanta.
